North Carolina customer shot and killed Waffle House employee, 18

North Carolina police is looking for a customer who got so agitated while waiting for his food that he allegedly shot and killed a Waffle House teen employee.
The incident unfolded at a Waffle House restaurant in Laurinburg shortly after midnight on Friday, when the suspect came into the restaurant and ordered food, the Laurinburg Police Department said.
While his food was being prepared, the suspect allegedly became “more agitated and verbally abusive” toward the restaurant employees.
After the suspect received his food, he allegedly walked out towards his vehicle at the parking lot and then fired two shots at the restaurant, striking one of the employees.
The suspect then drove away in a dark grey-colored 2014 Chevrolet onto Scotland Crossing Drive toward West Boulevard.
When police arrived around 12:45am, they found the employee – identified as 18-year-old Burlie Dawson Locklear of Red Springs – inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound.
He was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
There have been no arrests so far, with police issuing an arrest warrant for the suspect – identified as 38-year-old Florwer Carlin Lizano – on suspicions of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Locklear.
Lizano, also known as “Chulo” or “Carlos,” is described as a black man with a light skin complexion, long dreads, and facial hair including a beard and mustache.
He stands between 5-foot-8 inches and 5-foot-10 inches, and weighs over 140 pounds.

Lizano was last seen on surveillance footage wearing a dark blue pullover hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes.
Police said the suspect is armed and dangerous.
“We are mourning the tragic death of one of our Waffle House Associates, who was the victim of an outrageous act of violence early this morning at our Laurinburg, NC restaurant,” Waffle House said in a statement.
“The death of our Associate, 18-year-old Burlie Dawson Locklear, known simply as ‘Dawson’ to his friends and family, is horrific. We offer our sincerest and deepest sympathy to his family and friends.”
Waffle House representatives said they are fully cooperating with law enforcement to investigate the incident, adding they “will do whatever we can to help the authorities find and arrest this murdered.”
Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Laurinburg Police Department at 910-276-3211.
